Some Big Blue

Standard

From the mission-blue.org: Australia announced on Friday the creation of the world’s largest network of marine reserves, protecting more than 2.3 million square kilometres of ocean environment.

As a treat, they’ve posted a link with 360° underwater views of the Osprey Reef, probably the only way a diving-averse person such as myself will ever see it.

Aside from the good news from the same site that American Samoa has announced the end of the shark fin trade and shark fishing in coastal waters, I just had to get a better look at the picture that went with the article.
